Protecting Public Health since 1992
Vector Disease Control, Inc. (VDCI) takes pride in providing municipalities and mosquito abatement districts with the tools they need to run effective mosquito control programs. We are determined to protect the public health of the communities in which we operate. Our mosquito control professionals have more than 100 years in combined mosquito control experience, including extensive experience in operating routine surveillance and control programs, as well as in disaster relief situations.
Today, VDCI is a nationwide mosquito/vector control service provider, with mosquito surveillance and control operations in 14 states. Our full service integrated pest management contracts offer a comprehensive and complete program for the control of mosquitoes and other arthropods of public health importance. Our operations follow guidelines and accepted practices set forth by the American Mosquito Control Association. Surveillance, source reduction, public education, habitat manipulation, larviciding and adulticiding are all components of our programs that are used to reduce the abundance of mosquitoes and mosquito-borne diseases in an area. We always strive to see that pesticides are applied in as safe and as environmentally friendly a manner as possible. We have ample experience using only EPA registered public health pesticides labeled for mosquito control such as Bti, methoprene, resmethrin, permethrin, pyrethrin, and naled.
