Vector Disease Control International: Mosquito Control for Engineers, Developers, and Construction Companies

Mosquito Control for Engineers, Developers and Construction

Creating a Safer and More Comfortable Working Environment

The engineering, development, and construction industries are an integral part of this country’s economy and develop infrastructure for all facets of life such as commercial, residential, industrial, and more. Often these sites are open from dawn to dusk, with employees and clients spending most of their time outdoors, leaving them particularly vulnerable to mosquito bites and vector-borne diseases. Not only that, battling mosquitoes all day can be a huge distraction to workers, taking focus away from their work while using heavy machinery and performing tasks. This can further put their safety at risk and sometimes prevent you from finishing construction in time for your deadline.

When mosquito larvae are detected in an area, we use environmentally sound biological products, when possible, to eliminate the problem. And when necessary, non-biological control methods are utilized. Once it has been determined that mosquito populations have reached unacceptable levels or the risk of mosquito-borne illness has become imminent, adulticides are carefully applied in the safest and most environmentally friendly way possible. Our trained applicators use only EPA-approved products and the safest control practices in accordance with national mosquito control standards to control mosquitoes at your worksite. Our advanced spray technology ensures the proper droplet size and accurate pesticide placement.

The safety of your workers is of utmost importance to us, and we can help protect them from these nuisance pests. If you are interested in developing a mosquito control program in your community, contact our mosquito experts or call us at 800.413.4445.
